It overlooks the main pool. It was built as an accessibility unit, so it’s easy to move through, which suits retirees, families and guests of every age. No one has ever lived in it, and the exterior was recently cleared, painted and sealed against the rainy season, with the wood columns sanded and varnished.

Inside the villa

The 14 to 16 foot vaulted ceilings are what set this villa apart. Clerestory windows in the upper sections pull in extra daylight, so the whole space feels airy, bright and much bigger than its footprint.
